Wheel Throwing Taster

Enjoy a fun session learning to throw pots on the wheel. A wheel throwing taster session gives you the chance to try your hand at throwing on the potter’s wheel. You will be guided through the process of throwing a pot. You will learn to centre the clay and create your own unique hand-thrown pots.

You will be able to choose one pot to have glazed and fired after the session. This process can take up to 6 weeks. You will be contacted via email when your pots are ready to collect.

FAQs

Can I take my pottery home with me?

Yes, but not yet. You can choose one pot to be glazed and fired in our electric kilns. After the session, your pot will be glazed and fired. This process can take up to 6 weeks. You will be contacted via email when your pots are ready to collect.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Let us know as soon as you can in writing, if you want to cancel or change your booking. This must be done in writing via email at least 14 days ahead of the course start date, in order to receive a refund (minus a 10% admin fee) or swap your booking to a new date. Within 14 days of the course or workshop, no refunds or transfers can be made, unless your place is filled by someone else. If your place is filled, you will be be able to reschedule your workshop, or use equal credit to use against another course. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
