In this workshop you will learn how to pinch, coil and sculpt your own unique form, which could be a mug, bowl or vase.

Your tutor will teach you the hand building techniques needed to transform a ball of clay into a functional or sculptural piece. These techniques will help you to understand the feel and structure of clay, and are a great starting point for more complex forms. You will leave this workshop with confidence and fundamental skills in hand building.

Your piece will be glazed in your own choice of coloured glaze by our technicians after the workshop, and be ready to collect 4-6 weeks later, after kiln firing. This session is for adults only.

FAQs

Can I take my work home?

Your piece will be glazed and fired in our kilns after the workshop. Firing can take up to 4 weeks, we will contact you when your pieces are ready to collect.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Let us know as soon, if you want to cancel or change your booking. This must be done in writing via email at least 14 days ahead of the course start date, in order to receive a refund (minus a 10% admin fee) or swap your booking to a new date. Within 14 days of the course or workshop, no refunds or transfers can be made, unless your place is filled by someone else. If your place is filled, you will be be able to reschedule your workshop, or use equal credit to use against another course. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
