In this full-day workshop you will learn how to pinch, coil and sculpt your own unique form, which could be a mug, bowl or vase.

Your tutor Pascale will teach you the hand building techniques needed to transform a ball of clay into a functional or sculptural piece. These techniques will help you to understand the feel and structure of clay, and are a great starting point for more complex forms. In the afternoon you will learn to decorate the surface of your piece using colourful slips and a carving technique called sgraffito.
