Join us for a creative and hands-on pottery workshop where you'll learn the technique of Nerikomi. This beautiful method involves layering coloured clays to create striking patterns and designs within your pottery.

In this session, we’ll focus on using black and white clay to craft intricate shapes and patterns.

In this creative and colourful workshop, you’ll make and decorate your own mug. You’ll be guided through each step, to make your mug shape and then be able to decorate in a range of colours.

This 2-hour workshop is perfect if you want to try pottery for the first time, learn a surface decoration technique to add bold designs. By the end of the session, you will have created your very own beautiful and functional piece of pottery to enjoy at home.

In this full-day workshop you will learn how to pinch, coil and sculpt your own unique form, which could be a mug, bowl or vase.

Your tutor Pascale will teach you the hand building techniques needed to transform a ball of clay into a functional or sculptural piece. You will then learn how to use coloured slips to add surface decoration to your piece.

Join ceramic artist Pascale Wilson for the day and create your own slab-built lamp base with colourful slip decoration.

Join ceramic artist, Rhi Jarman, to create your own mushroom decorations using porcelain paper clay. 

In this workshop, you will hand build and decorate a hanging mushroom bell decoration and a mushroom ring dish/jewellery holder. Rhi will demonstrate a variety of techniques including pinching, hollowing, sculpting, and how to use porcelain paper clay to create fine natural textures. You will also have the opportunity to add colour using underglazes and oxides.
